DOS AND DON'TS TO CHOOSE THE OUTFIT FOR YOUR NEXT JOB INTERVIEW.
Updated: Oct 1, 2021
A job interview brings some challenges, but choosing the right outfit doesn't need to be one of them. Our team researched some tips to make it easier for you!

WHAT TO CONSIDER WHEN CHOOSING YOUR OUTFIT.
Check the company's dress code. It's an excellent way to show that you understand the company and are a good fit for the team. If you don't know if the company welcomes casual style only on Fridays, make a safe choice by avoiding jeans.
Your personality and skills should be remarkable, not your outfit. How do you want to be remembered by the recruiter? As the candidate with great experience and polite manners or the person with the funny t-shirt? It doesn't mean that you only should wear black or white, but make sure that the outfit doesn't send the employer the wrong message. To be safe, avoid revealing clothes, t-shirts with sayings, open shoes, and flashy jewelry.
The gym/yoga fashion rarely causes a great impression. You love sports, and it's one of your strengths. It's hard to disagree that some sportive outfits are fancy and comfortable. Still, unless you are applying for a personal trainer or yoga instructor position, they shouldn't be your first choice for a job interview.
IMPORTANT ASPECTS TO CHECK
Pet hair on your sweater? No, thank you! During the interview, maybe you have the opportunity of talking about your pets, but make sure your outfit is pet hair and pet smell-free!
Is it a stain? A stain-free outfit not only shows hygiene but expresses respect for the person you are going to meet and for yourself.
Is this piece of clothing still my size? Make yourself confident and comfortable by avoiding those outfits from when you were some pounds lighter. A button popping from your shirt is the last thing you need during an interview.
